Altarez Novelties is the maker of distinctive fashion accessories and novelty items like figurines and decorative masks. Bamboo combs, attractive necklaces and bracelets as well as imaginative bags have found a market among local residents and international tourists.
The business started as a happy accident in the course of making dentures. The resulting figurine was the first of many creative endeavors that triggered the growth of Altarez
Novelties. Valuable help from the ANP, DTI, CIDA Pearl and TESDA came in the form of seminars like the Basics of Exporting, Chain Management and the Basics of Accounting, as well as participation in trade fairs. Products were featured on the TV Show Negosyo Pangkabuhayan and are displayed in Boracay, at the Buenos Aires Resort in Bago City and the Negros Showroom.
