Profile
When you think Negros, you think El Ideal’s guapple pie. El Ideal, however, is a lot, lot more. It is a full array of gastronomic delights from coconut pie, lumpia ubod, empanada, piaya, pastel de manga, caramel boat tarts, butterscotch, puto ube, cassava cake, angel cookies and other special assorted cookies as well as a delightful array of bread, pastries, and native delicacies.
The company traces its roots from the El Ideal Bakery of circa 1920′s in Silay City three generations ago. Through constant upgrading and total commitment, it is now a recognized Negrense food brand that is a member and participant of the annual trade fairs of the House of Negros and ANP since its inception. Other trade missions include the PHILFOODEX in January, the Travel Mart in February, the MEGMA National Trade Fair in March as well as the Asian Ethnic Food Fest at the World Trade Center in 2002.
El Ideal works hand in hand with DTI and DOST and is a charter member of the Bacolod-Negros Occidental Bakers Association (BACNOBA) and the Association of Negros Occidental Food Processors.
