Sugarlandia is Bacolod barquillos. The counsel from their forebear to ‘never ever change the measurements for cooking, not even an ounce of sugar and milk’ ensured that this family of bakers will continually be proud of its wide array of well known delicacies that never fail to satisfy the discriminating palate. Locals and foreign guests alike feast on pasalubong favorites like piaya, pinasugbo, bañadas, biscocho, galletas, garlic bread, kinamonsil, lubid-lubid, luwag-luwag, otap, squidflakes and for the sweet tooth, the meringue, cookies, butterscotch and barquiron, among others.
Sugarlandia started its long delicious tradition in 1930. It is one of the province’s longest-running family enterprises with the secrets of quality and taste being handed down from generation to generation. Food products are available at the main Sugarlandia outlet and the Negros Showroom.
